Wunderbar Films is an award-winning Tamil film production and distribution company based in Chennai, established in 2010 by actor Dhanush.
With a strong reputation for emotionally resonant storytelling and bold directorial voices, the studio has helped shape a new wave of South Indian cinema.
The name “Wunderbar”, meaning wonderful in German, was picked up from Inglourious Basterds, and has since become a symbol of unique, genre-bending Tamil cinema.
